Jo Murphy - Salon Owner

Joanna returned to college in her late 20s to train as a beauty therapist. To get the best start and training she studied for 3 years to gain a level 2 and 3 NVQ. Part-time employment followed at The Tranquil Moment to gain experience and knowledge. After progressing to management, in 2000 Joanna purchased the business and began to put her own mark on the salon.

In 2012 the salon moved to much larger premises within Poulshot, offering the best possible environment for treatments. Joanna has continued to train with many prestigious brands such as Decleor, Elemis, CACI, CND, Nouvatan, Apilus and Tibby Olivier.

Free time away from being a beauty therapist is spent with family and friends, travelling and keeping fit. Joanna enjoys keeping up to date with the fashion and beauty industry.

Hellen Clark therapist at Tranquil moment, near Devizes

Hellen Clark

Hellen joined the salon working 1 day a week whilst studying at Bath college, she has developed into an amazing therapist with a gentle and professional manner. Hellen is a perfectionist and strives to make all of her clients relaxed and achieve there desired results.

Appointments are available 4 days a week with Hellen.

Garry Murphy

Garry is a highly experienced soft tissue practitioner, with qualifications within sports injuries, sports massage and sports therapy. Garry is registered with the SMA and is also qualified through the Football Association within the Management and Rehabilitation of Injuries. Garry thoroughly enjoys his work as a soft tissue practitioner.

In 1996, a 12 year career with Reading Football Club started, working with young academy players through to first team duties. Experience gained during this time has left a mark and was invaluable. Garry has worked with some high level people over the years including Liverpool FC manager Brendan Rodgers, Chelsea Head of Medical Physiotherapist Jon Fearn, former Blackburn manager Steve Kean, former Reading and Aldershot coach Kevin Dillon, as well as working on rehabilitation with some top international players.

After leaving Reading FC, Garry joined his wife at The Tranquil Moment on a part-time basis and is proud to have a loyal client base. Free time is spent with family and he will always have a soft spot for football. Since 2004 he has travelled all over Europe watching the England national football team.

Wendy Stallard

Wendy Stallard trained for permanent makeup in 1996. A pioneer, and now a leading practitioner of permanent makeup treatments she founded Cosmetic Enhancements in 2006.

She uses the Derma Medical I permanent makeup machine, one of the most advanced machines available. It has been designed to the highest specification and is certified under ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO 13845 (meeting European medical and cosmetic manufacturing standards).
